Directions for use
Mix 2 liters of termex 48ec in 100 liters water to produce a 1.0% Water Emulsion. Apply using a power sprayer or tank-type garden sprayer.
Pre-construction application
- Areas to be covered by floors, porches, entrance platforms, etc. Before the concretes lab is poured, treat the soil or unwashed gravel at 4 liter per square meter For soil along inside of foundation walls, both sides of partition walls and around plumbing use 5 liters per linear meter. From the grade to the footing along the outside edge of the building, apply 5 liters per linear meter per 30cm depth.
- Crawl spaces. Apply at rate of 5 liters per linear meter per 30cm of depth from grade to bottom of foundation. Method of application is by rodding and trenching. For inaccessible spaces treat soil by drilling and rodding through foundation walls from the outside.
- Hollow block foundation. Apply at a rate 2.5 liters per linear meter of wall by drilling or probing.
Post –construction application
Concrete slab foundations. Apply rate of 5 liters per linear meter along the router edge of the foundation under the slab and at all cracks and expansion joints. Application methods maybe through the sub-slab injection by drilling holes in the salt or through foundation walls from the outside. Inject emulsion through the holes and along all cracks and expansion joints. For shallow less than 30cm foundation walls, apply the emulsion by trenching.
Basement: Use at a rate of 5 liters per linear meter by trenching outside foundation walls and by rodding underneath basement floor, along the inside of foundation walls, along cracks around sewer pipes, conduits and piers.
Hollow block foundations: Apply at a rate of 2.5 liters per linear meter of wall by drilling or probing.
Re-entry Period: Do not enter the building within 24 hours after spraying.
Directions for Storage and Disposal.
Store in original container, tightly closed. Do not store near food/foodstuff, heat open flame and herbs. Do not reuse empty container. Bury empty containers in an isolated level spot away from livestock feeding areas, wells and streams.
